This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
"Arts task is to save the soul of mankind, and anything less is a dithering while Rome burns. If the artists who are self selected for being able to journey into the other, if the artist cannot find the way, the way cannot be found" -Terence McKenna
Hey I'm thinking of going to Qantm but no positive feedback as of far, do you know if everyone does pass? or how widely known it is in the industry. any additional info is greatly appreciated :3 thanks
Hey, well it depends what you want to study, I'm nearly finished my Bachelor of Interactive Entertainment: Animation Major
Well first off if you have a choice you're better off going to Melbourne or Brisbane Qantm, the Sydney campus is fairly new in comparison and isn't the best organised, I was part of the the first batch of students to do the Bachelor of Interactive Entertainment there. But it isnt terrible in it's organisation, just needs improvement.
Not everybody passes, out of all the people who started out alongside me in the BIE course two years ago probably 2/3 have dropped out. I can only speak for my course but because it is essentially the work of a 3 year uni course packed into two years, it is very fast paced.
Since the courses are packed so tight you're expected to do a lot of study and practice outside of class.
Though you shouldn't have a problem passing as long as you have some degree of talent and you're willing to work hard. Looking at your gallery, you don't seem any stranger to talent or hard work.
Qantm is very widely known in the industry however which is the best part of going there, I actually found out about it after reading an interview with a guy from a Melbourne games studio, and he recommended it. They put a lot of effort into using their contacts to get internships for students.
But it really depends on what you want to do, 3D, 2D, web design, graphic design?
